On November 11th, 2022, actress 大原優乃 Yūno Ōhara updated her YouTube channel 『ゆーのちゅーぶ / 大原優乃』 Yūno Tube with a special collaboration with actress 箭内夢菜 Yumena Yanai, who respectively played the roles of Nadeshiko Kagamihara and Aoi Inuyama in the TV dramatization of the popular camping manga and multimedia franchise ゆるキャン△, known in English as Laid-Back Camp.
Just like Laid-Back Camp
The video, entitled 『【ゆるキャン△飯】箭内夢菜ちゃんとグランピングしたよ!』 (Laid-Back Camp cooking: I went glamping with Yumena-chan) has surely delighted Laid-Back Camp fans, not to mention fans of Ōhara and Yanai, as it features the two actresses giving a somewhat more upscale version of the camping adventures they potrayed in the drama, along with behind-the-scenes stories about their experience filming it.
First, they made the creamy soup-style pasta dish that Rin tries in Episode 5. They had no trouble completing it thanks to their excellent teamwork! Their laid-back mood was just like in the story.
After finishing their meal, they tried their hand at making s'mores just like Nadeshiko did with Rin, played by 福原遥 Haruka Fukuhara in the drama. Ōhara tries her best not to burn the marshmallows but Nadeshiko fans can probably guess how that turned out...
Fan reactions
The video elicited comments from delighted fans both in Japan and abroad. Here are some of them:
This video is a must-see for Laid-Back Camp fans so be sure to check it out!
