On November 19th, 2022, the Twitter account of アザラシシーパラダイス Seal Sea Paradise (@aguhiyori) in Monbetsu, Hokkaido, Japan, posted a video of what may be the most lovey-dovey interspecies couple we've seen in a while.
Now at 188,000 likes and climbing, the video features 日和 Hiyori, a spotted seal, and her keeper locked in a hug.
As you can see, Hiyori-chan is just so enamored of her keeper that she keeps giving her kisses every time she draws her face near.
The way Hiyori-chan stretches her neck out and then pulls it back in is so adorable!
Many people must have been comforted by the sight of Hiyori and her zookeeper clinging to each other like a couple in love.
