Every year, there are around 500 illumination spots throughout Japan, possibly even more.
Here is an illumination done in Meguro river (Tokyo) last year. It featured an astounding amount of blue LED to create a fantasy-like atmosphere.
If you walk through this 500-meter long illumination, we're sure people will get sucked into the world of blue.
If you are traveling to Japan, we recommend you check the illumination schedule - it would be a great experience to marvel at these 'stars in the streets'.
