This man was just hanging out on his boat when an unexpected friend suddenly jumped aboard to join him.

“Anybody looking for a seal? I seemed to have acquired one,” he says in the video. No one knows why it randomly hopped onto his boat, but it doesn’t look like it’s bothered one bit by its new environment. The seal appears to be content sitting on the boat with the man, snuggling against his back and being the most adorable creature in the world.

When the man asks if the seal plans on riding with him the whole day, it simply closes its eyes and puts its head back on his shoulder. We’re guessing it wasn’t in a hurry to get off, and they probably spent a nice refreshing day floating out on the big open sea.
