As a kid, pumpkin carving was one of my favorite things about Halloween. Now it’s turned into an art form, and we must say there are a ton of amazing talent out there!

To share their Halloween carvings, a group of DeviantArt users annually post pictures of their own pumpkin carving art for others to see and comment on. This year, user ceemdee has come up with a masterpiece that takes pumpkin carving to the next level.

“Luigi’s Mansion Pumpkin” has gone viral since its first appearance on DeviantArt, and has made jaws drop at its creativity and incredible artistry. But be careful when you show your kids — they might beg you to make it, then get upset when they realize you’ve completely butchered their pumpkin.

First, Luigi is carved on the front

Then comes Boo on the back

And this is what happens when you light it up!

Is that cool or what? It’s also the perfect amount of spooky, which makes us love it even more.

Needless to say, ceemdee has received a ton of praise from netizens all over the world. Some have even said they tried to do it too, but could not achieve the same amount of detail as the original.
