Maybe Hop the kangaroo (awesome name by the way) was just imitating his human friends when he went up to pet this cat in hopes of making friends with it, but apparently he didn't catch what happens when you get a little too aggressive with a feline without their approval!

Hop seems to come up from behind the relaxing kitty-kat (not always the safest approach!) and then paws rather cutely at its head, giving it a rather affectionate-looking rubdown before getting a kick in the face for his troubles! You can't help but feel for the guy since the video ends with him in a dejected stance, trying to figure out what just happened.

But not all hope is lost! Hop gets a much better response when he takes a different approach...
