Dogs love their treats, but unbeknownst to us humans, the moment they try to catch the treats we throw isn’t without a whirlwind of emotions.
45-year-old German photographer/journalist Christian Vieler has hilariously proved this fact through his photographs of dogs trying to catch food, which reveals the many faces of dogs expressing the excitement, sadness, or confusion that naturally arises during such imperative moments.
“Every shoot I am looking for that specific moment when the dog is looking as cute or funny as they can be,” said Vieler. “That cannot be seen without the power of freezing motion – dog’s faces with magnificent lineaments, telling us stories of panic, desire and joy.”
