A lot, if not most, of us grew up watching Sesame Street, and it would be a lie to say we didn’t learn a few things from Big Bird, Elmo, and the rest of the gang (including Cookie Monster helping us realize how much we really love cookies).

Now, you can head over to the eclectic fashion district of Harajuku to relive your dear childhood at the new Sesame Street-themed cafe. Officially called Elmo and Friends Cafe, you can visit Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and Oscar for a limited time and enjoy Sesame Street original foods, goods, and photo spots.

But a themed cafe can’t exist without unique, colorful plates of food, and the Sesame Street cafe won’t be letting anyone down.

You can get a plate of Elmo’s Chicken Curry, Big Bird’s Omelette,

or Elmo’s Harajuku Burger, just to name a few.

To top off your meal, you can get Cookie Monster’s Pancake,

the Sesame Street Party Platter,

the Vanilla and Raspberry Ice Cream Sandwich, or any one of the mouthwatering desserts.

They have lots of cute drinks, so the only problem you’ll have is deciding what to order!

You can also purchase towels, smartphone cases, t-shirts, and bags if you want to take a little souvenir back home, although we could imagine the food and the experience being more than enough.

The Elmo and Friends Cafe will be open from May 1st to June 30th, just two minutes from the famous Takeshita Street next to Harajuku Station. They are accepting reservations, which they recommend interested guests to get as the cafe is expected to receive many customers. If you've been feeling old and nostalgic of your lovely childhood days, this might be a great opportunity to go out and relive it all over again.
