Nissin’s first brand of instant noodle “Chicken Ramen” was invented back in 1958 by Momofuku Ando. Thanks to him, poor college students can crack their exams without being starved. The company is now celebrating their 58th anniversary with different creative commercials, one of the most interesting ones is about called,
“Instant Buzz - Samurai Drone Cat Idol Rube Goldberg Viewer Warning Too Explosive High School GIrl.”
The extreme long title was purposely created as a list of “buzz points,” (basically the standout wacky moments) so to see how many you can spot in this cool video.
The concept here is to show that all the buzz points throughout the commercial are representatives of the ebb-and-flow of fads that get left behind in their era, while Chicken Ramen remains a constant throughout the years. The company achieved the impossible, as the brand has remained popular throughout its 58-year history.
