Man At Arms is a YouTube channel where expert blacksmiths forge legendary weapons from anime and comics like Bleach, X-Men, and Final Fantasy. Recently, after a flood of requests from viewers, the crew at Baltimore Knife and Sword decided to make a real life Trunks’ Sword from Dragon Ball Z.
As all Dragon Ball Z fans would know, Trunks’ Sword is an insanely sharp sword perhaps most notably known as the weapon that cut Frieza into bits.

But despite how effortlessly Trunks’ Sword slices through anything, recreating the weapon proved to be that much trickier. The sword, drawn by a Japanese artist as a western-style sword with Japanese characteristics, possessed a slightly unconventional design not easy to mimic.

It wasn’t an impossible feat for the blacksmiths at Baltimore Knife and Sword, however, who freehanded the entire shape, forging, beveling, and grinding it into an epic, lethal weapon. And like all of the weapons they recreate, Trunks’ Sword turned out to be as sharp and utile as a sword could ever be, even cutting through Majin Buu!
