Since 2015, long before the hype of Pokémon GO, US-based artist tamtamdi has been busy at work illustrating Pokémon for the artist's own Pokémon gijinka series, a collection of original artwork where our favorite monsters are reimagined in human form.
While it’s true that the Pokémon franchise has spurred a worldwide phenomenon since it first arrived over 10 years ago, tamtamdi’s gijika artwork (art humanizing animal-like characters) is making us want an entirely new Pokémon series based on these original illustrations of the charming anthropomorphized characters.
So far, tamtamdi has drawn 298 Pokémons, and has posted 253 of them online for devoted fans to enjoy.
If you don’t see your favorite monster below, head over to tamtamdi’s Tumblr and DeviantArt pages for tons more Pokémon gijinka works. You can also follow tamtamdi on Facebook for the newest updates on the amazing artist.
