Ramen Lovers Rank Their Top Ten Ramen Toppings! What Do You Put In Yours?
Ramen is one of the most popular dishes in Japan. Not only is it affordable, it is also extremely tasty and widely available.
One very popular ramen shop is Menbakaichidai in Kyoto, where you can experience having your ramen served with FIRE BLASTING IN YOUR FACE!

What!?
Yes, that’s right. Fire blasting in your face. Rachel from the popular YouTube Channel ‘Orangetummy’ brings us to Menbakaichidai to experience
The restaurant itself is divided into two sections; table seats and counter seats. When you first enter, you will asked what kind of ramen you’ll like to eat. If you choose the fire ramen, you will directed to the counter seats, if you choose any other ramen, you will be directed to the table seats.

After ordering your ramen, you will receive two large paper aprons, one for your front and one for your legs, and a hair tie to tie up your bangs. Later, you will be prompted to read a bunch of instructions that tells you how to react when the fire ramen finally makes its appearance.

Although it was only merely seconds the fire was in action, the sudden intense heat from the blaze is enough to make you jump (and yelp). This is not for the faint-hearted.

The ramen itself was topped with a generous amount of spring onions, the meat was soft and flavoursome, and the broth had a very original tang to it.

This is definitely a place to check out while you’re in Japan, however, please take note of their store opening times as they are not open during the period just after lunch and before dinner!
