It’s an incredible feeling to share a bond with any animal, and Japanese Twitter user @Gen3Act03 is fortunate to have an extra special relationship with his year-old Indian eagle-owl Garu. Garu has been living with Gen since he was three weeks old, and throughout the course of their year together, the lucky owl has lived a life abundant with love and cuddles. With a life so full of affection, perhaps it's only natural that Garu adores the attention he gets from Gen, especially when his human pets him on the head.
With a reaction that's more resemblant of a cat than an owl, Garu closes his eyes and relaxes under Gen's hand, receiving a relaxing massage on the head. According to Gen, there has always been someone by Garu's side ever since he was an owlet, sleeping and hanging out with him to constantly make sure he's okay. Because of this, Gen suspects that his feathered friend might be thinking he's half human...
Half human in spirit or not, it's undeniable that Garu has an enviable relationship with Gen. If you can't get enough of their adorable life together, head over to Gen's Instagram and Twitter for more pictures and videos!
