Japanese Twitter user @takuhikoy was just minding his own business when he discovered that one tree growing near his house had a striking resemblance to an iconic Japanese kaijū — the one and only Godzilla. It wasn't enough to appreciate the similarity of the tree to the silhouette of the King of Monsters from afar, however, so he put his Photoshop skills to the test and added a few touches here and there to a picture he took of it.
The results were pretty impressive, to say the least.

We can totally imagine this is what it would look like if Godzilla did stomp his way to a less urban area of Japan. Granted with an opportunity like this, we'd love to see @takuhikoy go above and beyond the realm of Photoshop and actually put up illuminations in the tree. With a little bit of effort, it could look something like this:

But for now, the Godzilla tree will remain as another masterpiece of the Photoshop world. Who knows, maybe the King of Monsters himself will actually decide to crash his way through the country one day...
