It seems as though there's matcha-flavored everything, from extra dark green tea Kit Kats to matcha cup noodles. With so much matcha-flavored food and snacks already available for us to devour, it comes as a surprise that matcha-flavored Mentos haven't yet been released for the world to enjoy. But that's all about to change, because on June 12th, a Japan-original Mentos Matcha flavor will be hitting stores in Japan only.

The green tea version of this soft candy will have a bittersweet taste, and come in a green and gold package with a traditional Japanese-style design. The Mentos Matcha can be purchased for just 100 yen (US$0.90) at stores throughout Japan, so make sure to try them out!
