Japanese retailer Felissimo has a subdivision of goods called Nekobu, or Cat Club, which features a variety of feline-themed items for cat lovers. However, they aren't always satisfied to just give their products a kitty-aesthetic. In the past they've released lip gloss that simulates kissing a wet cat nose, cat-paw socks that let you walk on hardwood floors with feline grace, and scratch and sniff stickers that smell like cat tummies. You might think it would be hard up the creative ante there, but they might have just done that with their new bath powder that smells like milk for kittens.

Titled "Feel Like a Cat Crazy About Milk Bath Powder", the inspiration behind the product is to make customers feel relaxed and comforted the same way kittens do when they are offered a bowl of milk, while taking a bath. Keep in mind this isn't milk from a mama cat, but rather store-bought cans of kitty milk--one of which Felissimo actually sent over to a perfume company to collaboratively reproduce both the appearance and fragrance of. When dissolved in hot water, the scent and light milky color is released. The goal, as the packing implies, is to help you relax while feeling like a cat, with a sustenance provided for your skin and temperament as opposed to your kitty stomach..

Among the 8 moisturizing ingredients included in the powder are skim milk and squalene oil, and is said to be geared toward skin care during the cold winter season.

As always with Cat Club products, a portion of the proceeds goes toward a charity fund to help cats misplaced by natural disasters, find forever homes, and other feline services. It's currently available on Felissimo's Japanese site for order at 2,600 yen for monthly delivery. While not yet available on the international order site, it should be shortly and you can follow it here.
