The only permanent Pokemon Cafe in the world, located in Tokyo, is continuing to delight Pokemon trainers with their ever-evolving menu, bringing us new seasonal and permanent menu items all the time. At the moment they're focusing on the second generation Pokemon.

The first throwback to the Gold and Silver Pokemon era turned up earlier this year in the form of the starter Pokemon and Eeveelutions made into burgers and pancakes.

Now it’s the turn of the second generation’s legendary Pokemon, Ho-oh and Lugia.

These avian Pocket Monsters have been transformed into awesomely plated desserts.

Fans can show allegiance to Silver and cool down with the Lugia Whirl Islands Shaved Ice Dessert Plate which has taken on a refreshing lemon flavour.

Or go Gold and get the Ho-oh and Rainbow Wing Ice Cream Dessert Plate. Ho-oh’s head has been formed out of strawberry flavour cake.
