Creative glass and cup designer Goodglas Japan has found a lot of success with their 3D-Art glassware lineup, which uses handmade blown double glass walls to create bubbly cat and shiba inu glasses. The transparent but rounded nature of each glass allows you to "fill out" your pet drinking buddy with the color of your drink, giving you a beverage sculpture of the animal of your choosing. One of their most recent releases included the adorable scarf-wearing shiba inu glasses below.
While Goodglas animal beverage drinkware is available for order online and at a number of retail stores in Japan, now the glass designers have teamed up with Ginza Loft to open up their first ever cafe where you can sit down and order a variety of animal and fruit-themed drinks served up in their classic bubbly glasses.
Just opened on December 15th, the new Goodglas Cafe offers a full menu of winter beverages. Customers can order from the store's animal series, which includes a dog (Ginger Chai), cat (fresh grapefruit juice), bear (hot chocolate), and duck (fresh orange juice), as well as fruit shaped glasses of grape (mulled wine), strawberry (strawberry smoothie), and pineapple (pineapple smoothie).
Each drink is priced at 600 yen (plus tax), but glasses can be purchased and taken home for 3,200 yen. Hopefully the popularity of the bubbly glasses will see new animals and fruits introduced as the seasons change. Access information is available below.
