In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, masks have become an extremely valuable commodity for people all over the world. In Japan, there have been countless new gimmicks created by manufacturers to make their brand of masks more appealing to customers. There’s been glowing LED masks, masks made from traditional Japanese paper, and animal masks that you might be able to match with your own pet’s face.
Japan’s next offering in the world of face masks isn’t as flashy or colorful as the previous ones, however, in a way, it’s still subtly Japanese. These regular-looking face masks are infused with a sakura mint fragrance, and with every breath, you’ll feel like you’re back to spring again.

The manufacturer of the masks, Galleria International, claims that the fragrance can have a calming effect on the wearer. They’re also supposed to help relieve asthma symptoms and even prevent hangovers.
If you want to add a hint of spring to your daily mid-pandemic ensemble, the masks can be bought online through Galleria International’s website, with one box of 50 masks priced at 1,800 yen.
