In anticipation for the release of the much-awaited movie, “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time” in January 2021, the Japanese coffee brand, Mt. Rainier, collaborated with the popular animated series to release a limited edition packaging for their beverages.
The Evangelion-themed packaging comes in 6 different designs. The designs feature silhouettes of some of the most iconic Evangelion units but also features more subtle patterns taken from the show, such as the font for the series’ title cards and the style of NERV’s user interface.
