Demon Slayer game’s release date announced, opens for pre-orders
The action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 was undoubtedly the most anticipated video game of 2020.
Even before it was announced that Keanu Reeves would be playing a starring role in the game, fans were already eager to experience what Cyberpunk had to offer. So much so that within the first 10 days of its launch, the game sold 13 million copies worldwide — cementing its status as the game of 2020.
Cyberpunk takes you to a somewhat unrecognizable version of California — or as it’s known in 2077, the Free State of California. Within this futuristic reimagining is the sprawling metropolis of Night City, where megacorporations reign supreme, humans have advanced cybernetic implants, and everybody is labeled and divided into factions based on what you do.
Keanu Reeve’s character Johnny Silverhand was one of Night City’s residents and was the famous Rockerboy frontman of a band called Samurai. Johnny was also notorious even to those who weren’t fans of his brand of punk rock; he was known as an influential political anarchist and would routinely proclaim vehement opinions against the Arasaka megacorporation. However, in a city where Arasaka and the likes held staggering amounts of power, Johnny wasn’t exactly without enemies.
Both these personas — the Rockerboy Johnny and the anarchist Johnny — were depicted in toy manufacturer Good Smile Company’s latest Nendoroid figure.

The Johnny Silverhand Nendoroid figure comes with two face plates and multiple accessories, all taken directly from the game: his guitar, his pistol, a duffle bag that he uses for nefarious purposes, and his aviator sunglasses to make him look just a tad bit cooler.

You can preorder the Johnny Silverhand Nendoroid until February 25, 2021, through Good Smile Company’s online store. The figure is priced at 5,000 yen and is expected to be released in September 2021.
