A well known Japanese confectionery chain, Ginza Cozy Corner, are famous for beautifully presented desserts. Sometimes they even create adorable limited edition sweets based around beloved characters in official collaborations with Disney.

This latest release is one for Pixar fans, and it’s not the first time Ginza Cozy Corner have referenced the beloved animation studio in their sweet treats. They’ve previously released Toy Story Alien desserts to bring some intergalactic charm to their Easter line up.

This new set is being released just in time for Children’s Day and Golden Week, so they make the perfect celebratory treats for both kids and nostalgic adults alike.

Die-hard Pixar fans will instantly recognise each of the characters that inspired the nine-piece dessert box, but here’s a run down just in case!

From the top left, Woody from Toy Story is represented by a chocolate chip cream cake, Buzz Lightyear appears as a blueberry jam cream cheese mousse, and Jack Jack from The Incredibles can be seen (or not seen) as a raspberry and mango cream cake.

The middle row starts with an adorable black sesame cream tart shaped like Remy from Ratatouille, Lightning McQueen from Cars is a white chocolate crunch and strawberry mousse, and at the end is Sully from Monsters Inc. made into a blueberry jam and ramune flavour cream tart.

The bottom row is populated by a coffee and chocolate cream tart inspired by Carl from Up, Nemo and Dory appear in an orange and ramune flavour chocolate cream tart, and finally on the bottom right is Mike from Monsters Inc. as a cream-filled, matcha roll cake.

The whole set comes in a colourful box featuring all the characters from the cake assortment. It will be sold for a limited time only, from 23rd April to 10th June 2021, costing 2700 yen.
