Japanese confectionery chain Ginza Cozy Corner are known for their beautifully presented desserts. While some of their creations take inspiration from famous characters (like The Little Mermaid), other treats celebrate events (like Lunar New Year), and the cute presentation makes them perfect gifts.
Ginza Cozy Corner’s latest set of cakes are appearing in time for Father’s Day, the next big event in the calendar. These sweet creations contain plenty of recognisable dad stereotypes to delight any parent on his special day.
There’s a golf cake, a camera dessert, a work shirt and tie cake, and even a ‘beer’ jelly (it’s actually apple flavour). Right in the middle is a ‘dad tart’, complete with moustache and cheeky winking face. Apart from these cakes, there’s also plenty of fruity creations which are perfect for summer.
The nine-piece set is perfect for a Father’s Day celebration, and it comes in a box with appropriate illustrations. If you think this is the sweetest way to show your appreciation this year, the set will be appearing in Ginza Cozy Corner from 18th to 20th June 2021. It costs 2592 yen.
