As fun as it is to play with your pets, wildly swinging a toy around for your cat to catch can be quite tiring on the old arms. So Twitter user @nekokamasu must have thought they hit the jackpot when they found a motorised cat toy that moves around automatically.

They own seven cats, so this purchase must have seemed like the perfect solution, until one of their cats gave a less than ecstatic reaction.

They caught the feline’s unexpected expression on video and it attracted over 28 thousand retweets and 130 thousand likes.

The caption reads ‘the only thing moving is the toy’, and this is very true. Not only is the cat not playing with the toy, he remains completely motionless. The toy even hits the him in the face and he doesn’t react at all. The cat’s impassivity is even more humorous when compared to his adorable headwear.

The owner even uploaded a longer version on YouTube, calling him the ‘Zazen Cat’, thanks to his unshakable stoicism.
