Recently, we’ve seen several online videos that have helped us unravel the enigma that is the Shiba Inu. Their strange antics have led them to become one of the internet’s favourite dogs, as every member of this breed seems to be prime meme material.

We’ve seen a video which reveals the magic word to make them love you instantly, and how a simple cleaning ritual can turn a dog into a prima ballerina.

Today, we present to you, a dog called Ranmaru, who seems to love being stroked with air.

The video was uploaded to YouTube by the owner with the title ‘Petting Shiba with oxygen’. It shows the owner pretending to pet the pupper but not actually touching him.

But he still seems to love it! He puts his ears down like he’s being petted for real.

At some point in the video Ranmaru comes to his senses and realises he’s not actually being petted, and then demands the attention he deserves.
