Nihonbashi Dashi Bar, a dashi broth community shop that believes in “one soup for every meal” as a founding concept, released a new way to enjoy katsuobushi in the form of their Katsuo Miso Dengaku on October 1st.

Take out price: 250 yen (tax included)
Skewered Konnyaku (a gelatinous zero calorie konjac potato) with sweet and spicy Katsuko miso sauce, topped with freshly shaved special bonito flakes “Honkarebushi”.
Available hours: 11 am- 6 pm *or until sold out for the day.
Availability period: October 1st to October 31st
Honkarebushi is a specially processed, high quality bonito flakes that goes through layers of process between molding and sun-drying. This reduces the fish smell, and deepens the flavors. Added to the sweet and spicy katsuo (striped tuna) miso sauce, the Honkarebushi bonito flakes make this dengaku another level. This is a dengaku katsuobushi fans do not want to miss!
