Sanrio’s cute characters and sweet desserts are the perfect combination. Thanks to this, fans of Sanrio in Japan have been treated to plenty of adorable cafe collaboration menus over the years. This includes bubble tea creations, and even full on afternoon tea sets.

This latest charming match up is happening at a pancake house called Butter, and features three of Sanrio’s most popular characters. The trio is made up of Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, and Pochacco.

There’s main meals on the menu such as Pompompurin’s hamburger plate.

And Pochacco’s meat pasta.

But of course, each character also gets represented by a pancake. Cinnamoroll’s one has plenty of cotton candy to symbolise clouds on a blue sky.

Pompompurin’s offering is a pudding-topped pancake which suits him perfectly.

And Pochacco’s treat is inspired by a field of flowers he might see while out on a walk.

If you just can’t choose a favourite character, there’s even an afternoon tea set with a layer for each one.

The characters also have representative drinks which come with an exclusive coaster featuring the designated character. Iced coffee is Cinnamoroll, iced cafe latte is Pochacco, and iced royal milk tea is Pompompurin.

These super cute pancake dishes will be on the menu until 31st May 2022 at the Butter branches located in LaLaport Toyosu, LaLaport Yokohama, and LaLaport Koshien.
