"Koyo" refers to the changing of leaves into brilliant fall colors in Japan, and nothing welcomes in that glowing change of season in the country than stroll outside to take in all the gorgeous scenery. Much like sakura in the spring, many seek out spots to enjoy a simple walk to admire the fall leaves or to enjoy a picnic style party underneath them.
Photographer Mari (@mariii_a7iv) stumbled upon a path that has many on Twitter captivated and wanting to walked down it. Mari took a photo of the fall leaf covered road located at Hyakusaiji Temple in Higashiomi City, Shiga Prefecture, and you can see why the enchanting path has some commenting that it may lead to another world:

Underneath trees covered in gorgeous fall leaves and upon a path completely covered in every seasonal color you can think of, the breathtaking shot is the perfect picture of Japan's celebrated fall scenery. While many were captivated by the shot on Twitter and clamored for where to find it, unfortunately the path is not accessible, as Mari took the photo from outside the temple's fencing. Even so, it's definitely worth admiring from outside!
