Would You Take THIS Friend For A Walk Outside?
Japanese mother of five-year-old twins きのきの Kinokino (@KinokinoTwins) posts episodes related to childcare and her daily life on Twitter.
Kinokino wanted a pet hamster.
In fact, she wanted to live with a hamster so much that she bought all the supplies she could find...
In a hilarious Tweet that went viral earlier this month, garnering over 148,600 likes at the time of writing, she documented her preparations:
"I wanted to care for a hamster so much that I already have all I need, except for the hamster and its food.
I've been taking care of my 'pet nothingness' for a long time now."

In the photo, you can see a transparent hamster cage complete with a spinning wheel, house, water dispenser, and food bowl. She even prepared some sawdust.
The perfect environment is ready, but the crucial hamster is missing.
From the phrase "I've been taking care of my 'pet nothingness' for a long time now," it's obvious that she didn't just buy a cage on a whim and staged the photo for Twitter. Her longing for a hamster is real.
And to prove that point, in a follow-up Tweet, Kinokino offered a glimpse of her daily life with her 'pet nothingness' with the caption: "Look! Isn't this little guy super cute!"

Her photos elicited many comments, such as:
Yet others were able to "see" Kinokino's 'pet nothingness' with their mind's eye, leaving comments such as: "It's so fluffy," "Wow, so cute," and "I can see it!"
You could say that, just like her "pet," there's an important message hiding in her Tweets.
Owning a pet means being responsible for an animal's life, including sudden injuries and illnesses.
Kinokino's photos make us chuckle, but at the same time, it's clear that she understands these responsibilities and is mentally preparing for them.
When and if she's finally ready to welcome a furbaby into her home, she'll surely be ready for it.
