It doesn't matter how sticky and dirty the situation is, you can't leave one of your own behind.
That lesson is on display here in a heartwarming display of togetherness brought to us by Wild Wings Safari. Taken at the Kruger National Park in South Africa, the video shows what happens when a baby elephant finds itself stuck in a muddy waterhole, and doesn't quite have the size to get out.
When the mother elephant can't get the little calf out on her own, another member of the herd hurries back to lend its trunk to the rescue effort!
Free from the sticky situation, the elephant calf scampers back into place, comforted by the fact that this herd won't leave even the tiniest member behind.
