If you love art, or are simply looking for an incredible place to stay in Tokyo, Art Colours Park Hotel Tokyo might be right down your alley.
Located in Shiodome, this hotel is currently running a project called “Artist in Hotel” where they gather artists to paint the interior of the rooms. The artists are given the theme “Japanese aesthetics,” and they stay in their assigned rooms to paint freely on the walls.
It’s a broad theme, but it has helped produced some breathtaking artwork we’d be glad to be surrounded by any day of the week.
18 rooms have been completed so far, and they all gorgeously reflect the uniqueness of each artist.

The rates are around 250 USD for one night, depending on the day and season. But considering you’ll be sleeping surrounded by beautiful, one-of-a-kind artwork, it seems pretty reasonable.
Hopefully it won’t be long before all their other rooms are finished, because we can’t wait to see what they’ll look like when they’re done!
