Tired of the "same 'ol same 'ol" rehashed cutesy phrases that your stuffed animals come equipped with? Well, thanks to this app-controlled prototype device from Japan, you may be able to talk to your kids via stuffed animal.

Pechat, while still only a concept model, is an attachable button device that lets you give new life and personality to your stuffed animals. Controlled via a smart phone application, you simply attach the speaker-equipped yellow button to your desired target, and can input desired lines of dialogue via text--which come out in a cute stuffed animal voice.. Of course, while it is designed to be used as a means of "possessing" stuffed animals to entertain your kids, you can really attach it to anything--giving way to some nefarious trolling possibilities.
Whether you choose to use it for good or evil is up to you, but the device comes equipped with preset phrases and songs, but you can directly input your own and customize it.

As it is still in the conceptual stages, retail information is not yet available. They do seem to have English support on their website, with inquiry information. Hopefully once it is up and running, we can see just how well it works in practice with terrifying our friends and fami---err, bringing a smile to the faces of our children!
