Radio Ghibli Gives Studio Ghibli Fans Their Music Fix In Memorable Playlists

“Your Name,” directed by Makoto Shinkai has been streamrolling box-office charts in Japan for three months now, vaulting some Studio Ghibli classics behind, and now Your Name has entered second place of Japan’s all-time anime box office. While the hype behind the movie was always large, no one foresaw this kind of success.
Riding that wave of popularity, the movie will be getting its own pop-up themed cafe (much like how PPAP got its own cafe) opening in Tokyo and Nagoya this coming January. The cafe will be a collaboration between THE GUEST cafe&diner, and customers can try food and drink based off of scenes in the film and receive collectible coasters.
