Fashion brand LIBERE has just unveiled a new lineup of street apparel created in collaboration with one of Japan’s most popular manga series; Naruto. Based on the idea that ‘Naruto characters across the world wear LIBERE clothing’, the collection – LIBERE FOR NARUTO – reflects the personalities of the popular ninja characters, and presents unique look at ‘Street Ninja Style’ fashion designs.
The designs feature subtle yet strategically placed clan marks and colors that symbolize the six main characters of the popular ninja series; Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Shikamura and Hitachi.
Jackets and trousers in the collection feature fine details such as straps, pockets and zippers inspired by the idea that the ninja characters would ‘wear street fashion that expresses high functionality, as well as reflect the secretive ninja style’.
Additionally, the collection includes T-shirts, long-sleeved shirts and hoodies with distinctive motifs influenced by the manga series.
Each item comes with a special drawstring dust bag so that the clothing can be kept in peak condition at all times when not in use.
To compliment the collection, NARUTO Shippuden animation production company ‘Studio Pierrot' have designed a poster showing the six main characters wearing their representative street fashion clothes from LIBERE.
The limited edition poster will be presented to those who purchase the collaboration products.
Pre-orders for the collection are now being taken at both official LIBERE stores across Japan and at the LIBERE online store.
Also, a collection release pop-up store event is scheduled to be held in Tokyo from mid-May. More information regarding the event to be announced on the official website and instagram.
