While many remain anxious about the upcoming Hollywood live-action version of Mamoru Oshii’s cyberpunk anime classic Ghost in the Shell, fans will have chance to get excited with (or console themselves with) nostalgia before the film's March release. The 1995 anime film will be returning to U.S. theaters February 7-8, with both subtitled and dubbed screenings available.

The re-release of the the show follows a successful return to theaters by Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke, although this time it comes via a collaboration between Lionsgate and Funimation. Screenings of the film with Japanese language and English subtitles will be held on February 7th, while the English language dub will screen on February 8th in 110 movie theaters. In addition, Lions gate will be releasing a new "deluxe" collector's edition, which features a remastered original Blu-Ray with Digital HD, special packaging, and Mondo artwork on March 7, 2017.
