These oddly shaped chairs each have a special meaning — one that only Japanese manga fans will be able to fully appreciate. Created by Nendo, these steel chairs have dived into the world of manga art and come out warped and bent in the same way lines in manga are drawn to emphasize movements and emotions within the story. This playful concept gives ordinary chairs a new form of life other than silently standing on the floor. The project is called "50 manga chairs."
