By now, many visitors to Tokyo and anime fans have heard of the full-sized Gundam statue in the Odaiba area of Tokyo. While the previous RX-78-2 Gundam was already impressive, it was replaced last September by an even bigger and better Unicorn Gundam with special transformation abilities.
Standing at 19.7 meters tall in front of the Diver City shopping complex, this RX-0 Unicorn Gundam is built on a one-to-one scale, features a movable head, and transforms between Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode (complete with flashing lights and epic anime soundtrack) throughout the day at scheduled times.

Access information can be found at the statue's official website. Transformations occur at 11:00/13:00/15:00/17:00 throughout the day, with an evening schedule of anime video and audio clips played from 19:30-21:30.
Once you've finished admiring the statue, you can buy some Gundam related goods or even enjoy some Gundam-themed dining at the Gundam Cafe.
