Japanese IOT technology company FutureModel Corporation's most recent version of their NichePhone mobile phone series, the NichePhone S-4G, has a new accolade to add to the ones it has already received since going on sale in fall 2018: winner of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2019.

Only 9.5 mm (0.37 inches) thick and weighing a mere 52 grams (1.83 oz), the NichePhone S-4G has a sleek, ergonomic design with easy to operate keys and a bright organic EL screen. It's perfect as a second phone, a kids' phone, a phone for those who like to stick to the main functions, or a WiFi tethering device for your notebook PC or iPad. In addition to clear voice calls on the 4G network, you can also transfer your complete contact list from a PC, send and receive emails, set an alarm, play music with Bluetooth 4.0 headphones, and record voice or sound clips. It even has 1.8 GB of memory to store your music and sound files.
