Everyone loves round animals. Perhaps we associate chubbiness with cuteness, or maybe their lack of hard edges makes them look all the more huggable. I don't know. I'm not a zoologist.

Anyway, if you're one of the many that do enjoy looking at circular animals then you're in for a treat, because this probably the roundest girl we've ever seen.

The Twitter user that posted the picture went to the 'Kaiyukan' aquarium in Osaka after hearing about a resident seal that looks like a manju, a traditional Japanese sweet bun. Upon finding the celebrity seal she was amazed to discover that she was even rounder than the rumours had claimed.

This master of the spherical appearance is called Yuki-chan, and she is not actually overweight in any way, just really good at imitating a ball.

If you want to see her yourself, it could be worth the trip to Osaka's Kaiyukan Aquarium. It's the largest aquarium in the world, and it also seems to be home to the roundest seal in the world.
