Japanese People Think Of ONE THING When They See This
As many owners know, pets can be incredibly resourceful when it comes to finding food.
Dancer and choreographer Saki Nagano (@KuronekoGeete) learned this when she observed her cat last weekend. What she witnessed was so astonishing that she captured it on video and posted it in a Tweet which quickly went viral, garnering over 158,000 likes and 59,000 retweets at the time of writing.
Here is what she saw:
Since she has a busy schedule and doesn't always have time to feed her cat, Nagano uses an automatic feeder. In case you're unfamiliar with them, automatic feeders allow owners who, either because of work or other reasons, can't feed their pets themselves. The devices can be programmed to give pets access to the food stored inside at set times and amounts.
Nagano's cat feeder is operated through a dial that needs to be twisted open to give the owner access to the food tray. Although cats are unable to grip and twist a dial, Nagano's cat somehow figured out how to do it all the same.
While pressing down on the dial, the cat moved its body around in a circle on the axis of its paw, making the dial turn.
After a few motions, the feeder's lid finally popped up, and voila! Dinner is served!
Understandably, many people felt compelled to comment. Here's a small sample of the reactions:
