Free Tickets

If you're a foreign passport holder and a baseball fan living in or visiting Tokyo this month, you may want to leave an evening open in your schedule next week between September 10th and 12th for a special occasion.

As part of their "Respect Days" campaign, the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters want to invite you to see them play the Chiba Lotte Marines and the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles at Tokyo Dome entirely free of charge.

The only thing you need to do is show up at the retail counter for same-day tickets at Tokyo Dome and show any passport other than Japanese to the staff. Without even opening your wallet, you'll be handed a ticket to see the game in the unreserved infield area of the second floor stands (2階内野自由席 in Japanese).

If you plan on going with a Japanese friend, they'll also get a good deal in the form of a discounted ticket for 1,000 JPY (incl. tax) instead of the normal price of 1,800 JPY.

Schedule

  • Sep. 10th (Tue.): vs. Chiba Lotte Marines (Seating from 16:30, Game at 18:00)
