The No Make-Up Allowed Cafe in Tokyo Where Staff Rock the Natural Look
In December, Tokyo sightseeing bus group KM will be teaming up with Nestlé to offer a lucky select number of applicants facing grueling commutes in the Tokyo area a morning reprieve. The two companies will be offering a free special high-end bus called the YuGa (Japanese for "elegance") that delivers a luxury ride with spacious seating and a complimentary breakfast.
A press release for the bus cites a 2017 National Health and Nutrition Survey that revealed concerns about commuters having to skip breakfast and household duties to deal congested morning commutes and the stress caused by it. The bus, which departs from Ikebukuro Station from 8:00 AM with a destination of Tokyo Station (scheduled arrival time of 8:40 AM), offers the 10 selected travelers their own reclining seat, a posh restroom, as well as Nescafe coffee and a complimentary breakfast served on the way.
Depending on the date of use, passengers can enjoy a serving of Huevos Rancheros (December 17th, 18th), English breakfast (December 2nd), or a Swiss breakfast of fries, cheese, and meat (December 9th, 10th).
Hopeful passengers in Japan can enter a lottery for a chance to be selected to earn a seat on one of the bus's five departures, scheduled for December 2nd, 9th, 10th, 17th, and 18th.
