If you haven't heard, the Mobile Suit Gundam's 40th anniversary and Hello Kitty's 45th birthday are currently being celebrated with one of the most unlikely crossovers ever. Things kicked off with an internet anime short, in which the first episode saw Kitty-chan jump into the world of Mobile Suit Gundam to contact Amuro Ray as a giant mobile suit version of herself. The crossover has yielded dozen of celebratory goods, but the most recent standout taps into a subset all Gundam fans know--plastic modeling--and puts an adorable Sanrio feline twist on it: Hello Kitty Mobile Suit and Haro model figures!

The models are available in two varieties, a Hello Kitty Amuro Ray's RX-78-2 Gundam and a Hello Kitty Haro bot. These might be the first Gundam models with attachable ribbons, ears, and kitty whisker stickers.
