Last year, Japanese ramen chain Kourakuen made the intriguing proposition of chocolate ramen as a Valentine's Day celebratory meal. For February 2020, the noodle chain is at it again, only this time they are doubling down on the sweet and savory concoction with a tandem of chocolate ramen and white chocolate ramen.
Much like last year's Valentine's Day offering, the chocolate ramen uses a soy sauce broth fused with cocoa oil, and includes a whole chocolate bar as topping.
Meanwhile, the white chocolate ramen has a thick salt broth, thanks to added cocoa oil and cream.
Both chocolatey ramen bowls will go on sale starting January 30th and run until March 11th at Kourakuen chains throughout Japan for 640 yen.
