$2,600 Premium Wagyu Beef Bento Is Japan’s Most Luxurious Lunch Box
Medicom Toy Inc.'s internationally popular B@ARBRICK bear collectible toys are famous for their artist collaborations. Since artists aren't limited to sticking to cute and innocent themes, some of the models have included designs that are a bit frightening, such as these two by artist Phil Frost and fashion brand Mishka, for example:
However, unless you fall into the Venn diagram of Bearbrick collectors and enthusiasts who are able to disregard the cute bear form altogether and consider the toy as a blank canvas, and those passionate carnivores who just love beef, then this latest collaboration could come across as the most horrifying Bearbrick to date.
Bearbrick collaboration with Aging Beef
Aging Beef is a restaurant chain with 8 stores in the Kanto area, six in Tokyo, one in Yokohama and one in Karuizawa. As their name suggests, they specialize in aged beef, particularly prized Japanese Kuroge Wagyu beef. To celebrate their 10th anniversary, they're offering a special dinner plan which includes this Bearbrick collaborative model.

...However, it's not hard to see why it could offend animal lovers, or scare a child unfamiliar with Bearbrick, especially if that child owns a teddy bear. After all, at worst, it could look like what would happen if a teddy bear was made of flesh and blood and someone had stripped off its hide.

The Bearbrick bear is a special prize available in a limited lot of 3,000 to customers who reserve a plan worth 10,000 JPY (15,000 JPY at the Ginza location). Here's an example of what the menu would look like at one of their yakiniku locations:
