Popular Japanese coffee chain Komeda Coffee has a reputation for particularly sweet coffee and tasty desserts (even a collaboration with Godiva that had to be cut short due to popularity because they resembled poop so much). Whether you are grabbing a coffee, pancake, or sandwich, however, the menu offers many items known for their volume.
So it should be no surprise that Komeda's seasonal fall offering is a trio of beefy short rib burgers, which can escalate up to a mouthful triple beef size.
The new burger lineup is called "Kome-gyu" (gyuniku being the Japanese word for "beef"), and features finely cut beef ribs on a bed of shredded cabbage, doused in a sweet and spicy sauce soy sauce, sesame, garlic, mustard and pepper, all sandwiched between Komeda's soft buns. The Kome-gyu burgers are available in three sizes.
Single (110 grams)
Double (220 grams)
Triple (330 grams)
The meaty burgers will be available at Komeda Coffee locations nationwide from September 1st until the end of November.
