Pokemon Tail Hooks Can Solve All Your Hanging Storage Problems with Unbeatable Cuteness
2020 is definitely the year of the home party. As many of us have been forced to stay indoors the vast majority of the time, and limit who we meet, we’ve all become experts at having fun in the comfort of our own homes.
Although Japan’s Christmas isn’t necessarily a stay-in affair, this year is a bit different, and what perfect way to make your Christmas home party pop then to get a hold of the ‘Christmas Home Party Set 2020’ which will be wildly appearing at the Pokemon Cafe.
The pièce de résistance of the set is the super cute Pikachu Christmas cake, which should feed between four and six people.
Once you get past the sweet, smiling outer layer, inside there’s a mousse cake made with Hokkaido sourced cream and white chocolate. It’s laced with chocolate chips and contains two types of sponge cake, chocolate and plain.
The set also includes decorations and fun accessories to make the ‘Pokemon Christmas Wonderland’ of your dreams. There’s four Pikachu tail chopstick rests and four Pikachu paper glasses. There’s also an adorable Christmas tree stand and garland.
The full works will set you back 8800 yen and it can be ordered online through the Pokemon Cafe official site from 17th November 2pm, until 11th December 6pm (link will be posted on the site's news page).
The set itself can then be picked up between 22nd and 25th December, depending on location. Unfortunately for Osaka-based Pokemon trainers who also have a local Pokemon Cafe, it can only be picked up from the Pokemon Cafe in Nihonbashi or the Pikachu Sweets branch in Ikebukuro.
There’s only limited amounts of the set, so you may have to be quick off the mark if you want Pikachu as your festive centrepiece this year!
