Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is currently Japan’s most popular anime. It’s so popular that even the Japanese Prime Minister appears to be quoting it. Beyond official government sanction, there is only one higher indicator of craze status in Japan and that’s when Bandai immortalizes something in Tamagotchi form.
While Bandai Namco has already done just that, they are now releasing even more Kimestu no Yaiba Tamagotchi to celebrate the recent film release: Demon’s Blade: Infinity Train.

Kyojuro Rengoku and the Hashira Tamagotchis
On October 30th, Premium Bandai opened online pre-orders for special red Tamagotchi designed on Kyojuro Rengoku. Fan’s of the series will know that Kyojuro Rengoku is a powerful elite member of the Demon Slayer Corps and recent star of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinite Train movie. The Tamagochi is designed after his trademark red robes and fire-like hair style.

The digi-demon slaying excitement doesn’t end there however. From November 6th, preorders for 8 new Tamagotchi’s with designs based on all members of the Hashira! Check out images of each Tamagotchi below:

Owners of a Demon Slayer Tamagotchi have to raise a junior Demon Slayer by feeding it and completing mini-games. As you play, your Demon Slayer will level up through the ranks and eventually transform into one of the Hashira themselves!
The Tamagochi devices include 3 mini games: “Total Body Training”, “Boulder Lifting”, “Total concentration training”. By playing the fun games you can grow your character while having fun.
A single Tamagochi will cost ¥2,530. The Rengoku version is currently available for pre-order online and set for a March 2021 release. The next 8 Hashira Tamagotchi will be available to preorder from 3PM on Friday November 6th.
