Not to be outdone by their recently announced Neon Genesis Evangelion-themed Tamagotchi that allow you to raise Angels as adorable pets, Bandai will be teaming up with another super popular anime and manga franchise this October when they release their new Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Tamagotchi.
The new digital companions are officially called the Kimetsu Tamagotchi, and are available in models inspired by Tanjiro and Nezuko, as well as a special Demon Corps (Kisatsutai) model sold by Amazon Japan. The game will have you raise a member of the Demon Corps into being one of the elite warriors of the Hashira.
Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke appear to be available, but sample images and show that Giyu, Gyomei, Kyojuro, Mitsuri, Muichiro, Obanai, Sanemi, Shinobu, and Tengen are possible evolution and encounters in the game. It appears that you'll also have to do combat with Muzan Kibutsuji, but you'll need to take special care of your Demon Slayer by supplying them with green tea and rice balls. Neglecting them too much will cause them to get injured or dismissed sent away by the Kakushi.
