Commemorate 90 + years of Mickey Mouse at the ‘Mickey Mouse Exhibition THE TRUE ORIGINAL & BEYOND’ being held at the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Roppongi Hills until 11 January 2021.
The event is featuring works from the 2014 New York exhibition ‘MICKEY: THE TRUE ORIGINAL’ as well as futuristic Mickey Mouse artwork from contemporary artists.

In addition to the physical event, part of the exhibition is available to view online for free in virtual reality – there is even the option to enjoy the event with Oculus Quest VR gear!
Limited to the holiday season (ending on 25 December 2020), the venue is also offering visitors the chance to enter the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower sky deck for free after 17:00.

The option to view the event via VR comes at a difficult time for the travelling industry, and is ideal for those who are unable to visit because of health or difficulty to travel.
Have peace of mind and take part in the event from the comfort of your own home. Just because you’re not at the physical event doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it to the max – You can even purchase original products from the Mickey Mouse Exhibition at the museum shop through VR!

The physical event is also playing dress up this Christmas season with some of the exhibition areas decked out in seasonal decorations; the steamship in the ‘Steamboat Willie’ area will be decorated with illuminated birch trees in a snow-covered harbor, and a special Mickey Mouse adorned in Santa Claus hats and snowflakes will be hiding at the exhibition entrance, be sure to find him before you enter!
